HASSLE-FREE GREEN JUICE!

The one thing that always deterred me from making juices at home was the DREADFUL clean-up that came with it. I love green juices but I am really not a fan of all the mess that you make in getting there! I am pretty sure I am not alone in this, right?! I have found the perfect recipe to forgo all the messy clean-up that goes into juice-making, so stay tuned.. πŸ˜‰

Granted that the taste of a juice is something to get acquainted to and you will need to give it a few tries before you actually ENJOY a green juice – dont give up! For me, I was never a huge fan of celery (I would still not eat it on its own or in a smoothie) but I add it to my juices as it gives them a great consistency and has a ton of water to hydrate your cells. The ginger masks any taste that you might not be a huge fan of but, trust me, with time you get to love all of the ingredients and might even crave them. πŸ˜‰

If you are like me and feeling a little (or alot) under the weather lately, you are going to want to make this juice a daily staple! This juice is a great way to get in your daily greens and boost your immune system! It’s a great way to detox on a daily basis as I am all about that daily detox life, rather than going on a juice fast for 10 days which I may or may not have done in the past… yikes!

We love quick recipes here on tastefullyme and this is no exception, all you need is your blender, 5 minutes and a cheese cloth or nut milk bag. I hope you try out this quick juice recipe, let me know what you think. Bottoms up!

  1. Wash all veggies thoroughly. Peel the apple and cucumber and roughly cut all of the vegetables into chunks.
  2. Add all the ingredients into your high speed blender. Put the denser vegetables like cucumber and celery at the bottom of the blender. Add any green powder you like, I have a blend of a detox green powder that has what grass, spirulina and chlorella in it.
  3. Strain your juice mixture through a nutmilk bag into a large bowl. Squeeze out all the juice until only the dry pulp remains in your nutmilk bag.
  4. Serve right away on ice or keep for up to 2 days in the fridge.
